Militants on Wednesday lobbed a grenade on police-post Lassipora in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Choudhary told a news agency, GNS that militants fired the UBGL grenade on the police post.
“The sentry of the post retaliated the fire. However, there was no immediate report of any causality,” SSP added.
The whole area has been cordoned off and searches were launched to nab the attackers.
