An 8-year-old girl died after she fell in a pool at Gulgam area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara on Tuesday.
Officials told a local news agency GNA that the girl, identified as Hameera Gulzar, daughter of Gulzar Ahmad Lone, fell in the pool and was immediately retrieved. Subsequently, she was brought to SDH Kupwara where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
A police official confirmed to GNS that a case has been registered. (GNS)
