Kulgam family claims militant killed in B’pora as kin

Protest broke out today  north Kashmir’s Bandipora  after a family from south Kashmir claiming that one of the five militants killed in a forest area here by government forces was their son assembled in the township.

Reports said that a  group of people assembled at Gulshan Chowk this morning, and  when the news spread in the area that a family from south Kashmir’s Kulgam had come forward claiming that one of the slain militants was their son Bilal Ahmad alias Abu Haider. The people staged protest against the alleged dubbing of a local militant as foreigner.

They said that the brother of Bilal said that his brother had crossed LoC in 2003 and that they  knew he is the one among the killed militants.
