Mumbai, India: A Kashmiri youth has been found dead in Mumbai, India, after his disappearance since July 6.

Parvaiz Ahmad Teli, in his late 20s, was from Old City area of Indian-controlled Kashmir’s summer capital, Srinagar. As the news of his death spread in his hometown, protests started in the locality (Nawab Bazar).

People in the area started protests, erecting barricades to stop the traffic movement; raising anti-India, anti-Mumbai police and pro-freedom slogans.

On Saturday, Hurriyat Conference’s Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani  said that Kashmiris do not feel safe in any corner of India and police, intelligence agencies and communal forces are terrorizing Kashmiri people.
