Kashmiri poet Mehjoor’s “Ha Gulo Tohi Ma Sa” in Coke Studio

After a wait of over two weeks by Kashmiris, Pakistan’s famous music production, Coke Studio, has released the Kashmiri song, “Ha Gulo Tohi Ma Sa Wuchwan Yaar Meon”, written by Ghulam Ahmad Mehjoor, one of the famous poets of Kashmir. The song is partof production’s Explorer Series.

The song has been sung by Muzaffarabad-based Kashmiri artist Muhammad Altaf Mir along with other musicians, under a band called Qasamir. Mir has been associated with Radio Pakistan as a broadcaster for several years and currently is a master craftsmen of Kashmiri crafts.
