Kashmir valley is observing a complete shutdown following a call given by JRL leaders against the killing of two militants and a civilian killed in an encounter on Wednesday in Srinagar’s Fateh Kadal area.
All shops business establishments and educational are shut in Srinagar and other parts of valley while public transport is off the roads.
In Srinagar’s downtown government forces have imposed strict restrictions, all the entry and exit points to the old city have been sealed.
Two militants Mehrajuddin Bangroo, a top Lashkar commander and Fahad Mushtaq Wani were killed in a gunfight on Wednesday with government forces. A civilian Rayees Ahmad was also killed by the forces in the encounter.
