JRL calls for shutdown in Kashmir tomorrow


Joint Resistance Leadership comprised of Syed Ali Geelani, Yasin Malik and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has called for a shutdown in Kashmir tomorrow against the killing of teenager during clashes in Shopian today.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, one of the JRL leaders, said that Kashmir is turned into a graveyard of its own people by Indian forces as 3 more civilians die today.

He tweeted, “…more than 50 injured! young Tamseel directly shot at, while 11th class student Ubaid succumbed to his bullets wounds, elderly Ishaq Naikoo died of cardiac arrest as news of his son…being under siege reached him! Not even allowed to collectively mourn or protest the killing of our young Martyrs!Every attempt repressed as leadership &activists caged detained or jailed!JRL appeals people to observe tomorrow to register our protest &condemnation.”
