JRL urges people to observe Dec 10 as ‘black day’, calls for shutdown

The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called for a shutdown in Kashmir on Monday, December 10 while urging people to observe it as a ‘black day’.

In a statement, JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik urged the people to observe complete shutdown on December 10  to highlight the human rights violations in Kashmir valley.

JRL also appealed to the international human rights agencies to take note of “grave” human rights violations taking place in Kashmir and force India to stop the violations, the statement said.

December 10 is celebrated globally as Human Rights Day.
