In pictures: Clashes in Kashmir after police stops relief for Doda


After the police in Indian-Controlled Jammu and Kashmir didn’t let the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) team led by its Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik to distribute the relief to the earthquake affected families of Doda, the youth in Maisuma (JKLF Headquarters) clashed with the police on Thursday.

A Police statement issued here said that four policemen were injured in Maisuma area here in stone throwing incidents.

Meanwhile, the JKLF Chairman in a press conference [Read full story here] has called for a strike on June 25 when the Prime Minister of India is visiting the Valley and urged people to observe it as black day.
