Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday called on authorities to clear the confusion behind the killing of Budgam man who was killed in firing incident in central Kasmir’s Budgam district on Friday evening.
Taking to social media site Omar said that administration should establish the factual position on the killing for the satisfaction of people, “Conflicting reports of the circumstances surrounding Ishfaq Ahmed’s shooting. It’s imperative that the administration establish the factual position to the satisfaction of the people, especially Ishfaq’s family. May Ishfaq find his place in Jannat.”
Reports said that Ishfaq Ahamd, resident of Chattergam area of Budgam district was killed after army allegedly opened fire on Friday evening.
However, army dened the allegations, claiming that Ishfaq was shot at by the militants “500-600 metres” from the Chattergam army camp.
