Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Saturday condemned the killing of Tariq Ahmad Ganai who was killed in Shopian district on Thursday.

In an e-mailed statement , LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi while quoting the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah as saying “Indian agencies are secretly targeting those who are affiliated with the indigenous freedom struggle of Jammu Kashmir. These incidents are the worst example of state terrorism.”

Shah warned the forces of serious consequences, saying “if the freedom fighters opted for revenge, it will be chaos for Indian forces.”

He requested the human rights organizations to play their proactive part by taking notice of atrocities imposed upon innocent Kashmiris by Indian forces.

“The human rights organizations are silent on India’s war crimes. India is sabotaging the peace and stability in its own country by committing terror acts. The Indian media and journalists are covering the vicious crimes of their government,” he said.

Shah also warned the Indian government that “it will burn in the fire they set ablaze themselves. Its Akhand ideology will burn alongside it.”

“The Indian forces must commit the atrocities to an extent they can bear the consequences against it. If our children are being deprived of their rights and rendered as orphans, so will be the fate of their children,” LeT chief added. (KNS)
