Chairman Peoples Conference Sajad Lone Saturday expressed his grief over the civilian killings in Pulwama where seven civilians were killed in the clashes that ensued after the gunfight in the district.

The former legislature said that he hoped the administration abandoned the “Rambo mindset”,  “My heartfelt thoughts with the families of those who lost their lives in Pulwama. I just pray that Almighty takes us out of the perpetual state of mourning that we seem to have been sucked into. And also hope that administration abandons its Rambo mindset.” He wrote on his Twitter.

Three militants one army man and seven civilians were killed in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.

Five more youth were killed in Pulwama taking the civilian death toll in government forces action to seven in the southern Kashmir district.

Meanwhile, over 60 civilians have been injured among which some have been referred to hospitals in Srinagar
