Handwara gunfight: Slain militants identified, belonged to LeT

The two militants killed in a gunfight with the government forces in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district last night were affiliated with Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit.

As per reports, the slain have been identified as Liyaqat, a resident of Harwan Sopore and Furqan (18), a resident of Langate area of Handwara.

The two were killed in a gunfight with government forces in Guloora village of Handwara.
