Gunmen decamp with rifle, cash from Shopian bank branch


Unknown gunmen on Friday barged into the J&K Bank Branch in Kapran village of south Kashmir’s  Shopian district and looted 75,850 rupees from the Bank along with a 12 bore service rifle, sources said.

The gunmen decamped with a 12 Bore Gun from the Bank security guard, sources said.

Soon after the incident government forces launched a massive operation to nab the looters, witnesses said. (CNS)
