Governor orders massive reshuffle in State administration

The Governor N N Vohra on Thursday ordered a transfer of seven top IAS officers including principle Secretary to outgoing chief minister Rohit Kansal, Commissioner Secretary General Administration Department Khursheed Ahmad Shah and OSD in the General Administration Department Hilal Ahmad Parrey.

The transfers ordered are detailed below:

Hilal Ahmad Parrey, IAS, officer on special duty in the General Administration Department is posted as Commissioner Secretary to Government General Administration Department. Khursheed Ahmad Shah, IAS, Commissioner Secretary to Government General Administration Department is transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary to Government Public Works Department (R&B Department).

Rohit Kansal, IAS, Principle Secretary to Chief Minister is transferred and posted as Principle Secretary to Government Planning, Development and Monitoring Department. He will also hold the charge of Administrative Secretary Hospitality and Protocol Department. Deeraj Gupta, IAS, Principle Secretary (Coordination), Resident Commission, J&K Government, New Delhi is trasfered and posted as Chief Executive Officer Shri Matav Vishno Devi Shrine Board. He will also hold the additional charge of Principle Resident Commissioner J&K Government New Delhi.

Sanjeev Verma, IAS, Commissioner Secretary to Government Public Works (R&B) department is transferred and posted as Divisional Commissioner Jammu. Hemant Kumar Sharma, IAS, Divisional Commissioner Jammu is transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary to Government ARI and trainings Department vice Javid Ahmad Panju, IFS, who shall report to the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department.

Syed Sehrish Asgar, IAS, awaiting orders of adjustment is posted as Deputy Commissioner Budgam vice Mohammad Haroon. Mohammad Haroon, KAS, Deputy Commissioner Budgam is transferred and posted as Director Command area development Kashmir against an available vacancy.
