From 2008 till now, thousands of youth fallen to Indian bullets: Yasin Malik

Srinagar: Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid tributes to slain Gowhar Nazeer of Zainakot HMT who was killed on 07th November 2016 when Prime Minister, Nerander Modi was on Kashmir visit.

While recalling the sacrifice of this young Kashmiri, Malik in a statement issued here said that from 2008 till today thousands of our innocent youth have fallen to Indian bullets, pellets, bombs and shells of forces, thousands have been injured among whom hundreds have lost their eye sight while as thousands have been subjected to torture and incarcerations in various jails.

He said that “India and its Kashmiri supporters have unleashed a reign of terror against innocent and peaceful Kashmiri youth and have left no space for peaceful political activities and hence is pushing these innocents to the wall.”

Malik said that “slain Gowhar Nazeer was subjected to state sponsored terrorism during Indian prime minister’s visit to Kashmir and till date no one has been penalized for his brutal killing.”

He said that sacrifices of these martyrs are precious treasure of Kashmiris and this nation is grateful to these great sons of soil. (KNS)
