Five CRPF personnel, policeman injured in Arwani grenade blast

Five CRPF personnel and a Jammu and Kashmir Police cop were wounded in a grenade blast during a cordon and  search operation (CASO) in Arwani area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.

As per reports blast took place when the forces were withdrawing from Hassanpura area of Arwani following clashes during a search operation.

They said that five CRPF personnel and a cop of Jammu and Kashmir Police were wounded in the blast.

The injured were rushed to sub-district hospital Bijbehara for treatment.
