Father, 2 sons detained from gunfight house in Anantnag

Three members of the house where the militants were hiding during an encounter were detained in south Kashmir’s Anantnag town after the gunfight between militants and government forces ended.

Reports said that Tariq Khan, along with his brother Abid and father Nazir Ahmad Khan were detained right after the encounter in which two laskhar militants were killed ended.

Tariq is driver by profession, while as his brother is a shopkeeper.

Meanwhile reports said that the father of the duo has served more than fifteen years in prison.

However, police denied the reports saying no one had been detained.

Earlier, two militants were killed in a  gunfight which continued for several hours in Lal Chowk area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
