National conference leader Farooq Abdullah was left red faced after being booed at Dargah Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar.

The former chief minister of state was in  Dargah to offer the Eid prayers, however he had to leave midway after being humiliated as shoes were shown to him.

Reports said that as the Imam (Prayer leader) spoke about Article 35-A (State Subject Law). People started booing at Abdullah who had walked into the Mosque.

However   those present for the Eid prayer demanded his removal from the Masjid.

A video of the event has gone viral on social media, in the video people can be heard seen asking the removal of the senior Abdullah from the mosque premises.

Although Abdullah prayed at the Masjid he however did not wait for the sermon.
