Encounter breaks out in north Kashmir’s Handwara


An encounter between militants and government forces started in north Kashmir’s Sugan Handwara area of district Kupwara.

As per reports two to three militants are believed to be trapped as gunfight is going on in the forest area of Chek.

Jammu Kashmir Police wrote on its twitter handle:“Exchange of fire between Terrorists & Security forces at Handwara. Security forces on job.”
