Deputy chief of Zakir Musa led AGH not killed in Tral

One militant who has been killed in Reshi pora area of Tral in an encounter who has been identified as an affiliate of Ansar Ghazwat ul Hind led by Zakir Musa is not deputy chief of the outfit.

Media reports  claiming that Zakir Musa’s deputy chief Sauleh Mohammad alias Rehan has been killed in the encounter are false.

The slain militant has been identified as Shakir Hassan Dar son of Ghulam Hassan Dar, a resident of Rathsuna area in Tral of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.

Two Residential houses, a cowshed and a bathroom were damaged during the encounter that was being jointly conducted by 42 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and 180 CRPF, The Kashmiriyat reported.

Meanwhile another Cordon and Search Operation is going on at Pinglish area of Tral Sub district.

Mobile internet  and rail services have been suspended throughout south Kashmir in wake of the ongoing killing spree.

Sauleh Mohammad alias Rehan is a resident of Arampora Tral and has been in militants ranks since  March 2015.
