Curfew continues in Kishtwar on third day after BJP leader’s killing

Srinagar: On the third consecutive day on Saturday curfew, imposed on Thursday after the killing of BJP State Secretary, Anil Parihar and his brother, continued.
Paramilitary forces and police personnel have been deployed in Bhaderwah and Doda districts of Jammu division while as army has also carried out flag march in the curfew areas.
Top police officials said that so far the situation has remained peaceful in the area.
According to locals, a complete shutdown was observed on Friday in the Chenab Valley against the killings.
Anil Parihar and Ajit Parihar were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Tappal Gali area of Kishtwar town. Authorities have also suspended mobile Internet services in Kishtawar as a precautionary measure.
