Srinagar: Atul Dalloo (IAS) – Financial Commissioner, Department of Health and Medical Education called a meeting with Hakim Mohd Ilyas, General Secretary, Ehsaas Trust International and Mr. Vaqar Tantray, Dard Welfare Society today.
In a statement issued here, the spokesperson said that the agenda of the meeting was to converse and understanding the organizations in the current Covid crisis so as to work cohesively in the fight against the pandemic.
General Secretary Ehsaas, briefed Financial Commissioner about the work activities carried out during the early COVID outbreak in Kashmir, in addition to the briefings Mr. Vaqar appraised the attendees with a detailed Powerpoint presentation describing in detail the ongoing projects which include Tele Consultation Services, Competency-based training program for Volunteers.
It was also informed more than 300 doctors are registered across the globe for hassle-free 24 x 7 service to the people of Kashmir. E-Consultation and E-Prescription was discussed in detail. Mir Bilquees, Project coordinator, Tele consultation, was of opinion to start such services in other districts of J-K as well to benefit the people at large, in order to de-burden the workload of health institutions.
The Financial Commissioner agreed to support all logistic support in principle. Also as a result of the detailed discussion, the Director, Health Services Kashmir was instructed to involve health setup at district and tehsil level for wider spectrum of volunteer training and to ensure other logistic support to which Director Health services Kashmir ensured us for all logistic support.
