Srinagar: Thirteen more people have been tested positive for coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir. The tally in the Union Territory has risen to 258.

An official said twelve of the positive cases were confirmed from SKIMS lab and included samples received from other hospitals mainly GMC Baramulla. The cases include nine from Bandipora and three from Baramulla.

The other case was confirmed at CD hospital lab and pertains to a man from Kulgam.

Yesterday, twenty-one new cases of the infection were reported in J-K; among them include seven from Kupwara, four from Baramulla, three from Ganderbal, and two from Bandipora and one from Kulgam districts of Kashmir division while remaining four from Jammu division.

In the country, more than 9,000 people have been tested positive for the virus; among them nearly 330 have died.
