Cops thrashed by militants in Shopian, asked to resign

Suspected Militants on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday thrashed three constables associated with the Jammu and Kashmir police and warned them to resign from their jobs in south Kashmir’s Shopian district

Reports said that militants  barged into the houses of three constables  and beat them, while warning them to leave their jobs with immediate effect

The constables  all of whom belong to Nad Pora of Shopian district have been identified as Jahangir Wagay, Faizan Wagay, and Danish Bhat.

According to the reports the trio were warned by Militants to  adhere to their dictates or else  face the consequences .
