Intense clashes erupted in Hajin town of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district when hundreds of youth took to roads following the news of 14-year-old militant’s killing.
Slain Mudasir Rashid Parray son of Abdul Rashid Parray a resident of Mir Mohalla in Hajin town of Bandipora had reportedly joined militant ranks a week ago.
He was among the three militants killed in an 18-hour long gunfight between the government forces and militants in Mujgund area of Srinagar.
Reports said as soon the news about Bhat’s killing reached Hajin, people hit roads, raising anti-India and pro-freedom slogans. They started throwing stones on government forces, triggering clashes in the area.
Recently Mudasir’s picture holding an assault rifle and a knife went viral on social media.
Parray had gone missing from his home on August 31, after an encounter took place at Parray Mohalla in which three LeT militants were killed.
