Civilian injured in Shopian firing succumbs

Srinagar: Nineteen-year-old Rayees Ahmad Ganie son of Mohd Yousuf Ganie of Narpora, Shopian who was injured in Army firing on Saturday succumbed to his injuries today morning.

Ganie was one of the youths who had received bullet wounds. For last five days, he was battling for life at the Intensive Care Unit of SKIMS hospital in Srinagar.

Two other youths were also shot dead on the day of firing in Ganawpora area of district Shopian – South Kashmir.
