Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that until and unless India retracts its “actions leading up to the revocation of Article 370” in Kashmir, the relationship between the two neighbouring countries cannot be normalised, according to Pakistani news channel PTV News.
In August 2019, India revoked the article-370 of Jammu and Kashmir, art-370 granted semi-autonomy to the erstwhile state.
Khan’s statement comes days after Pakistan took a U-turn on the resumption of trade between the two countries.
Earlier in February, the nuclear neighbours surprised the world by announcing a ceasefire on the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished Imran Khan on the Pakistan National Day, Khan responded by thanking PM Modi.
