Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah on Saturday condemned the civilian killings in Pulwama where seven civilians were killed in clashes with government forces during a gunfight early morning.
The National Conference leader took to his Twitter handle to express his anguish over the killings,“Another blood soaked weekend in Kashmir. 6 protestors killed, 1 solider killed in the line of duty. Together with the 3 militants from this morning’s encounter that’s 10 dead. Reports of many injured at the encounter site. What a horrible day.” he wrote.

Five more youth were killed in Pulwama taking the civilian death toll in government forces action to seven in the southern Kashmir district.
Meanwhile, over 60 civilians have been injured among which some have been referred to hospitals in Srinagar.
