ADGP Mir inaugurates SMS facility for status on passport applications


Passport applicants in Jammu and Kashmir will now know the status of their passport cases through SMS messages on their mobile handsets as Additional Director General of Police (CID) Jammu & Kashmir Saturday inaugurated SMS facility for passport applicants.

Jammu & Kashmir Police on its Twitter handle said ‘A.G.Mir, IPS, ADGP, CID J&K inaugurated SMS facility for applicants of Passport, Service and allied verification at CID headquarters Srinagar. With this facility, applicants will be informed regarding the status of their verification…..”
