Government forces have arrested over two dozen people in Pulwama district of South Kashmir’s in last two days, The Kashmiriyat reported.
Quoting sources The Kashmiriyat reported that at least thirty youth were arrested by the Jammu Kashmir police in the past two days.
At least 15 youth were taken into detention post the intense clashes that had erupted in the Arihal area of Pulwama after a cordon and search operation was launched in the area.
“The forces also conducted nocturnal raids in the area and arrested at least 14 youth and also ransacked property,” an Arihal resident was quoted as saying by The Kashmiriyat.
A police official confirmed the arrests and said that the youth are involved in ‘stone pelting.’
