COVID-19: “Borders with Ladakh, HP and Punjab to be fully sealed”

Srinagar: Amid the coronavirus scare, the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir has decided to fully seal borders with neighbouring states and UTs.

This was tweeted by Directorate of Information and Public Relation, “#COVID19 Interstate/UT borders with Punjab,Himachal and Ladakh to be fully sealed. National Highway movement to be regulated. Inter district movement of vehicles to be strictly restricted.Essential service vehicles to ply normally @MoHFW_INDIA. @HealthMedicalE1.” DIPR tweeted.

In another tweet the department said. “#COVID19 Limited JKSRTC facility on highways as per prefixed schedule. Strict checking at Qazigund, lower Munda. Action against defaulters@MoHFW_INDIA @HealthMedicalE1.”
