COVID-19: Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor tests positive




Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor, known for voicing hit tracks such as Baby Doll and Jugni Ji in Hindi films, has tested positive for novel coronavirus.

Ms. Kapoor arrived in Lucknow from the UK ten days ago, and in an Instagram post today said that she developed flu-like symptoms four days ago.

“At this stage I would like to urge you all to practice self isolation and get tested if you have the signs,” she wrote. “We need to be sensible citizens at this time and think of all around us.” After her return, Ms. Kapoor is said to stayed in a five-star hotel where she also attended a party with more than 100 guests present.
