The world is stuck to India vs Pakistan match in World Cup 2019, and social media is running wild. From Twitter, Instagram to home lawns, rivalries between two political hot-heads is visible. While many have called for a neutral stand—May cricket win—people have got no chill.
Taking to Twitter, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti, called out for ‘being civil about match’, she said, “May the best team win in today’s India vs Pakistan cricket match. Every individual has the right to cheer for whichever team they believe in. So let’s be civil about it.”
DC of Srinagar, Shahid Chaudhary, also took a jibe at the sour rivalry, saying, “Probably, India-Pak cricket match is the only event in World where security “bandobast” is made 1000s KM away from the venue!” A few moments later, he also added, “Traffic-free roads & livelier Twitter! Yakeen nahin aata.”
