Anantnag attack: Mehbooba, Omar condemn killing of CRPF troopers

After Al-Umer affiliated militants attacked government forces convey that claimed lives of five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers, and injured SHO Anantnag, and a woman, former Chief Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah condemned the attack.

Taking to Twitter, Peoples Democratic Party president, Ms. Mufti wrote, “Strongly condemn the barbarous attack on security personnel in Anantnag. My heart goes out to families of our martyred CRPF personnel. Prayers for speedy recovery of those injured.”


While, the vice-president of National Conference, Mr. Abdullah wrote, “Very sorry to hear about the attack on the CRPF personnel in Anantnag today. I unreservedly condemn this attack & pray for the souls of the departed. May the injured make a speedy & complete recovery.”

The attack has been claimed by Al-Umer militant outfit, and warned of more attacks in future.
