Srinagar: Following the gunfight in Dalipora that left three militants, soldier and a civilian dead, authorities on Thursday imposed strict curfew in Pulwama town.
As per reports that the curfew was imposed in the town after heavy clashes broke out between the locals and the government forces
Meanwhile a complete shutdown is also being observed in the Shopian district as one among the three slain militants belongs to the district.
Earlier, three militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad, soldier and a civilian were killed and three persons including two armymen were injured in an encounter with militants in Dalipora area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir on Thursday.
A police officer said that in the initial phase of encounter three soldiers and two brothers Mohd Younis Dar and Rayees Ahmad Dar sons of Jalal Ud Din Dar sustained injuries.
Rayees died on the spot, his brother Younis was immediately taken to nearby hospital.
