Vehicle set ablaze by protesters during clashes near shootout site in Pulwama

Srinagar: A load carrier was set ablaze by protesters near the site of a shootout that left a militant dead in Litter area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Clashes erupted between government forces and protesters in South Kashmir’s Litter area in Pulwama district after news of the local militant killed spread in the area.

Locals claimed that government forces used tear gas to disperse the protesters.

Earlier, a militant was killed in the shootout between militants and Army in the Pulwama district on Tuesday.

Militants had attacked patrolling party of 55RR Army’s patrolling party in Chowdri Bagh village of Litter tehsil in Pulwama district.
