Congress President on Thursday hit out at Prime Minster Narendra Modi saying that he is ‘symbol of hatred’ and nobody ‘can stop us from removing him in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections’, ANI reported today.
Rahul Gandhi while addressing a gathering on Thursday in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh the constituency of his mother Sonia Gandhi, he targeted Modi and raked up demonetization, Goods and Services (GST), Rafale deal, unemployment and farmer loan waivers.
“I want to tell you that nothing can be achieved from hatred, it only causes destruction. The meaning of Narendra Modi is hatred. He is symbol of hatred. We are going to remove him and nobody can stop us.” Rahul was quoted as saying by ANI while addressing the gathering.
While talking about removal of CBI director Alok Verma, he said: “Modi travels around the world and claims to fight against the corruption. But when CBI wanted to investigate, its director Alok Verma was removed from the post at 1:30 am. The Supreme Court reinstated him, he was again removed from the post.”
