Srinagar: An officer of belonging to Central Reserve Police (CRPF) Monday died due to brain hemorrhage in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday, officials said.
The deceased was identified as assistant commandant CRPF, Ravinder Kumar of 118 Bn.
As per reports he fell unconscious at his camp in Gund area of Kangan today afternoon.
Adding that, Kumar who is a resident of village Mahrar in Uttar Pradesh started bleeding from his nose and mouth following which he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he breathed his last.
Meanwhile a case has been registered under 174 RPC in this regard at police station Gund.
