MeT predicts rain, snow in next 48 hours

The meteorological department (MeT) of Kashmir has predicted light rains and snow across Jammu and Kashmir in the next 48 hours.

The overcast conditions have increased the minimum temperatures marginally.

MeT said that the minimum temperatures have marginally increased today (Saturday) due to cloud cover adding that light rain and snow is likely to occur in the state during the next 48 hours.

The minimum temperatures in Srinagar, Pahalgam and Gulmarg were minus 1.2 degrees Celsius, minus 3.7 and minus 6, respectively.

Leh town recorded minus 6.6 degrees Celsius while it was minus 11.4 in Kargil.
