The year 2018 has seen different phases in Kashmir – from killings, to injuries, to hope of a new dawn. While many lost their loved ones in the spectacle of violence displayed over the volatile canvas of the region, people continue to live for their aspirations and dreams. Hiba Nisar, 19-month-old girl, from village Kapran of South Kashmir’s Shopian district became youngest pellet victim on 25 November 2018. She was hit by pellets during the clashes between protesters and government forces near the front door of her house.
