After Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made condescending remarks at all India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi, he responded back by saying ‘Allah will defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi’, Times Now reported.
In a scathing attack on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the BJP over their incessant jibes at him Owaisi said. “ (Is this country only yours, not mine? If I speak against the BJP, PM Modi, the RSS, Yogi, criticise Modi’s policies, will you throw me out of the country?),” he said at an election rally in poll-bound Telangana’s Malakpet. “This is not yogi thinking, this is Modi thinking… Allah hi harayega Modi ko.”
Adityanath had earlier said that if the BJP comes to power in Telangana, he will ensure Asaduddin Owaisi flees from the state like the Nizam of Hyderabad.
The Telangana leader went on a complete offensive against Adityanath and said the UP chief minister’s knowledge of history is nil. “The UP CM is saying if the BJP forms government in Telangana, Owaisi will be chased out, the way the Nizam was chased out. You are in zero in history… if you don’t know, ask those who do… the Nizam wasn’t thrown out of Hyderabad, he was made the Raj Pramukh),” he said.
