Woman among two injured during clashes in Pampore

A woman was among two injured after clashes broke out between government forces and youth in Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Clashes erupted in the area after police confirmed the identity of militant Mohammad Amin Mir, from Pampore who was killed in a gunfight in Budgam district on Thursday.

Reports said as the news of the Mir’s killing spread in the area, people came on roads and started throwing stones on the government forces.

A woman was hit by a stone near the clashes site while a man got injured due to teargas shell.

Mir a resident of Dranbal Pampore along with his associate Mukhtar Ahmad Khan was killed by  government forces on Thursday morning in a gunfight in Zagoo Arizal area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
