Srinagar shivers at minus 2.2 degrees as cold wave grips Valley

Following fresh snowfall in Kashmir Valley, season’s lowest temperature of minus 2.2 degree Celsius was recorded in Srinagar, while as the mercury dipped to minus 5.2 degree Celsius in Pahalgam.

Mercury plunged to minus 2.2 degree Celsius in capital city Srinagar as cold wave gripped Valley after unprecedented snowfall.

As per meteorological officials north Kashmir’s Gulmarg witnessed intense cold conditions recording minus 6.6 degree Celsius.
