The Punjab Police on Wednesday arrested one person involved in a grenade attack on the Nirankari Satsang Bhawan that killed three persons, Chief Minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh said.
The arrested person has been identified as Bikramjit Singh, he added.
However, one more person involved in the attack has not been arrested yet.
The Chief Minister further said that the grenade that killed three persons was made in Pakistan.
According to him, the motorcycle on which the persons were riding was also recovered by the police.
Amarinder said it was a “terror incident” and there was no religious link to it. (with inputs from IANS)
