There is finally good news for the sea of Game of Thrones (GOT) fans waiting for the show’s eighth and final season, as the HBO announced on Tuesday that the show will return in April 2019.
Although the HBO has not yet announced an exact premiere date however it looks like that the show is four and a half and five months away from the beginning of the end.
GOT’s official Twitter handle tweeted announcing the release of the final season.

As per reports, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, along with David Nutter and Miguel Sapochnik, will be directing season eight. The season will constitute six episodes, and all are supposed to have feature-length runtime (80 minutes or longer). It will be written by Benioff, Weiss, Bryan Cogman, and Dave Hill.
