Inspector General of police (IGP) traffic Basant Rath has joined the plethora of cricket fans to cricticise Virat Kohli’s for his remarks to a fan suggesting he leave India for liking non-Indian cricketers.
Taking to his Twitter Handle the popular cop showed strong dislike for what the Indian cricket team’s skipper had said, “Dear Virat Kohli, I love Javed Miandad. You please keep your cricket patriotism to yourself. And to your advertisement contracts.” He wrote.
Kohli has been under fire for his remarks to a fan who had said he sees nothing special in Kohli and that he enjoys watching English and Australian cricketers more.
“Okay, I don’t think you should live in India then… you should go and live somewhere else, no? Why are you living in our country and loving other countries? I don’t mind you not liking me but I don’t think you should live in our country and like other things. Get your priorities right.” Kohli had replied to a fan.
