Newly elected Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his disappointment on the statement issued by the government of India for taking a back on the initiation of peace talks during the upcoming event in New York.
Taking to Twitter, Khan labeled India’s decision as arrogant and negative. Lashing out at New Delhi, Khan said he has come across small men occupying big offices who do not have the vision to see the larger picture.
Disappointed at the arrogant & negative response by India to my call for resumption of the peace dialogue. However, all my life I have come across small men occupying big offices who do not have the vision to see the larger picture.

Notably, both the countries decided on 20th September to resume peace talks on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly next week in the New York. But, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) clearly rejected the proposal yesterday after the killing of three policemen in the South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
