At least two soldiers have been wounded in the ongoing Panzgam Chadoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A massive exchange of fire is underway between militants and the government forces in the area. The area was cordoned off in the wee hours after Forces received inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Latest reports said that at least two militants are trapped in a local Masjid while Forces have encircled it amid heavy exchange of fire.
An official said that a couple of soldiers including have sustained injuries who have been evacuated to hospital.
Meanwhile, internet service has been snapped in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district in wake of the encounter. Reports said that clashes are also going on near the encounter site. (CNS)
