At least a dozen people were injured in clashes with government forces that were triggered after the killing of two militants in Budgam’s Panzan area
The killings of two militants lead to massive protests in the area as scores of people hit the streets and staged demonstrations to protest the killings.
Chanting slogans, the protesters hurled rocks on the government forces sparking off clashes. The government forces retaliated with tear gas canisters and fired pellets to disperse protesters.
Among the injured four received pellet injuries and were referred to Srinagar hospital for treatment.
